Tea - Some Basic Do's

Over the last few years of intense tea experience with Fine Tea's I realize that people would generally make simple but grave mistakes while brewing tea and mishandle the liquid while it makes it way to your cup. Here are a few tips in making your tea palatable and Great!

As much as possible, use mineral water or RO with UV, based on my experiment, these water source are the best. Although some argue that with RO water you would have a more universal taste of the tea and that you would taste more of the tea and none of the minerals. I would beg to differ.

Use tea that has been stored well.

Do not over boil the water

Use cups that is light in color so that you can have a visual treat before you even take a sip of the tea

Once the brew is ready, lightly stir. Please do not over do the stirring process since a lot of the aroma would be lost in this process

Stick to the timing meant for the brew

Pour the entire tea in a serving jug or cups leaving the used leaves behind - This process is critical, I have seen friends leaving an Amazing Oolong tea brew in the Borosil kettle that we have used. They kept on pouring when their cups got empty, this continued for about 25 minutes.

If you stick to some of these basics, you would be rest assured of a decent tea for yourself. Happy Brewing!
